Konstrukcja obudów UCS ułatwia integrację wyświetlaczy i klawiatur membranowych w opracowywanych urządzeniach. Płaski panel górny umożliwia łatwe wykonanie otworu, w którym można zamocować ramkę z wyświetlaczem. Jeśli nie zastosujemy wyświetlacza dotykowego, a potrzebny jest interfejs w postaci klawiatury, tą również łatwo będzie zamontować.

Grubość tworzywa umożliwia wykonanie delikatnego zagłębienia, w które wkleić można membranę z przyciskami. Z racji, iż obudowa składa się z dwóch skorup, na dolnej można zamocować wszelkie moduły w postaci PCB, a następnie przewodami lub taśmami połączeniowymi wpiąć w nie elementy zamocowane na górnej części. W obudowach UCS można w wygodny sposób zaprojektować urządzenia, które będą stanowić jednocześnie panel wygodnie obsługiwany przez użytkownika.

Alibaba acquires Chinese chipmaker C-SKY Microsystems

Chinese e-commerce firm Alibaba Group Holding Ltd has acquired Chinese chip maker Hangzhou C-SKY Microsystems to underpin its cloud-based “internet of things” business, an Alibaba spokeswoman said on Friday. “Alibaba aims to empower different industries through our cloud-based IoT solutions, in which chips play a significant role. Korea moves to limit crypto mining chip imports

Cryptocurrency miners in South Korea may soon find it more difficult to get foreign-made mining chips imported to the country. According to data published by the Korean Customs Service, cryptocurrency mining chips have been added to the current list of items that must meet certain legal requirement for importation, such as safety and sanitation certifications. TI, Taiwan makers team up to develop car electronics solutions

Texas Instruments and member firms of a new generation driver platform R&D alliance set up in Taiwan three years ago have jointly developed a spate of automotive electronics solutions particularly including ADAS, which are expected to enter the supply chains of first-tier automakers in the near future through integration of the R&D resources. TI is now a leading supplier of chip solutions for ADAS millimeter wave radars with a wide range of operating frequencies, placing it in a good position to tap the lucrative global market for such radars. Nexperia secures $800M financing to fund future growth plans

Nexperia announced the successful completion of a refinancing of its current facilities with USD 800 million equivalent of senior credit facilities. This includes a significant proportion of Revolving Credit facility. The proceeds will be used to refinance existing outstanding debt and for Capex expenditure to fund future growth. The facilities were arranged by Bank of America Merrill Lynch and HSBC, acting as Global Coordinators, and were syndicated by a group of nine global banks. The three major chinese memory companies arrange trial production to begin in 2H18

According to DRAMeXchange China has entered the semiconductor sector and focused on the development of domestic memory industry. The three key players are YMTC, Innotron and JHICC, which work on NAND Flash, mobile DRAM and specialty DRAM respectively. All three companies have arranged trial production to begin in 2H18 and mass production to begin in 1H19. This will make 2019 the first year of China’s domestic memory chip production. As for the schedules of the three suppliers, the construction of Innotron’s fab was completed in June 2017 and the equipment installation took place during 3Q17. This new 2018 iPhone may cost half the price of an iPhone X

A more affordable iPhone may be heading our way: Apple is rumored to be releasing a 6.1-inch iPhone in the fall priced as low as $550. That tidbit comes from KGI analyst and frequent Apple commentator Ming-Chi Kuo by way of MacRumors. In a KGI investor's note, Kuo claims that the 6.1-inch iPhone could come in two variants: one with dual SIM card compatibility and one that only supports a single SIM.
