Podzespoły  Przetwornice DC/DC o mocy 8...240 W do aplikacji kolejowych

Firma Recom poszerzyła asortyment przetwornic DC/DC przeznaczonych do aplikacji kolejowych i aktualnie dysponuje największą ofertą produktów mających certyfikat zgodności z normą EN50155.

Oprócz przetwornic o pojedynczym napięciu wyjściowym (3,3 V, 5 V, 12 V i 15 V) dostępne są też modele z napięciem symetrycznym (±12 V i ±15 V).

Melexis brings out miniature FIR sensors

Melexis has brought out a family of miniature far infrared sensors for use in multiple applications where accurate temperature measurement is required. The MLX90632 family is based upon Melexis’ established FIR technology that utilizes the fact that every object emits heat radiation. The ultra-small integrated thermopile CMOS IC is a complete solution in a single 3x3x1mm QFN package including the sensor element, signal processing, digital interface and optics thereby allowing rapid and simple integration into a wide variety of modern applications. The device delivers thermal stability when experiencing thermal gradients and rapid temperature changes, thus solving a well-known weakness of existing infrared sensors. In addition, it offers a surface mounted package compatible with standard PCB assembly techniques. więcej na: www.electronicsweekly.com

ChipMOS Shanghai to grab backend orders for China homegrown 3D NAND chips

ChipMOS Technologies is expected to secure backend orders for 3D NAND flash chips developed by Yangtze River Storage Technology, according to market observers. YMTC, majority owned by Tsinghua Unigroup, has reportedly developed 32-layer 3D NAND flash chips in-house marking a new milestone and major technological breakthrough in China's memory-chip industry. Volume production of China's first homegrown memory chips is slated to kick off as early as the second or third quarter of 2018. ChipMOS Shanghai has already grabbed backend orders for NOR flash memory from Wuhan Xinxin Semiconductor Manufacturing, a wholly-owned subsidiary of YMTC, previous reports quoted industry sources as saying. więcej na: www.digitimes.com

Tesla electric Semi's price is surprisingly competitive

When Tesla unveiled its Semi electric truck last week, everyone agreed that it looked cool, but some actual truckers weren't necessarily sold on its functionality. Most observers will be impressed with the pricing if it holds, though. Tesla has listed estimated price on its Semi website for the 300- and 500-mile versions of $150,000 and $180,000 respectively, less than some pundits predicted. The fancier Founders Series, with the top specs, will cost $200,000. Looking at the $180,000 model, it's still around $60,000 more than a diesel-powered semi truck. However, the Semi could cost around 20 percent less to run, Tesla estimates, putting savings over a million miles at around $250,000. więcej na: www.engadget.com
