Podzespoły  Szybkie wzmacniacze operacyjne z wyjściem Rail-to-Rail do systemów wideo

Szybkie wzmacniacze operacyjne rodziny XR805x, wprowadzone w ostatnim czasie do oferty firmy Exar, mogą stanowić zamienniki dla wzmacniaczy z oferty Analog Devices: jednokanałowego AD8051, dwukanałowego AD8052 i czterokanałowego AD8054.

Mają szersze pasmo przenoszenia (175 MHz w porównaniu do 110...150 MHz) i mniejszy pobór mocy.

Zapewniają skuteczne tłumienie przydźwięku sieci i wejściowych sygnałów sumacyjnych (PSRR 102 dB, CMRR 100 dB). Producent poleca je do zastosowań zwłaszcza w systemach dystrybucji sygnałów wideo.

Ważniejsze dane techniczne:

  • pasmo 175 MHz (-3 dB) przy wzmocnieniu jednostkowym;
  • slew-rate 190 V/µs;
  • różnicowy błąd wzmocnienia/fazy 0,03%/0,03°;
  • wydajność prądowa 100 mA;

Japanese company develops a solar cell with record-breaking 26%+ efficiency

The silicon-based cells that make up a solar panel have a theoretical efficiency limit of 29 percent, but so far that number has proven elusive. Practical efficiency rates in the low-20-percent range have been considered very good for commercial solar panels. But researchers with Japanese chemical manufacturer Kaneka Corporation have built a solar cell with a photo conversion rate of 26.3 percent, breaking the previous record of 25.6 percent. Although it’s just a 2.7 percent increase in efficiency, improvements in commercially viable solar cell technology are increasingly hard-won. więcej na: arstechnica.com

Apple has acquired Workflow, a powerful automation tool for iPad and iPhone

Apple has finalized a deal to acquire Workflow - a tool that lets you hook together apps and functions within apps in strings of commands to automate tasks. We’ve been tracking this one for a while but were able to confirm just now that the ink on the deal is drying as we speak. As far as I know it was a solid payday for the team and small upside for investors. Workflow had raised an un-announced seed round of what we’re hearing was in the range of a couple million from Lowercase, Eniac and General Catalyst. The app was made by a small team that includes Ari Weinstein, a former iPhone jailbreaker. więcej na: techcrunch.com

Motherboard vendors see shipments drop in 1Q17

Despite Intel, AMD and Nvidia having all launched new processor or graphics chip products for the first quarter, motherboard players continue to suffer decreased shipments in the quarter and demand is also unlikely to pick up in the second, according to sources from the upstream supply chain. Asustek Computer and Gigabyte Technology are expected to ship less than four million motherboards each in the first quarter, the lowest quarterly record in the past few years, while second- to third-tier players are expected to have even worse performances. więcej na: www.digitimes.com
