Phoenix Contact nieustannie poszerza swoją ofertę obudów do elektroniki. Pojawiły się w niej uniwersalne obudowy serii UCS, które idealnie nadają się do tworzenia aplikacji opartych na systemach embedded.

Dostępne są w dwóch kolorach, dwóch wysokościach oraz czterech gabarytach pozwalają na stworzenie nie dość, że funkcjonalnego, to estetycznie wyglądającego urządzenia.

Za pomocą dostępnego na stronie www konfiguratora (wywoływanego kodem #512 wpisywanym w wyszukiwarkę na witrynie firmy) łatwo jest wybrać odpowiedni model obudowy. Dodatkowym ułatwieniem jest podanie konkretnego standardowego rozmiaru i typu PCB (np. mini-ITX), dającego w wyniku najbardziej odpowiednią obudowę.

W prostych płytkach montowanych w półskorupach łatwo jest wykonać otwory na wymagane przyłącza do zainstalowanych wewnątrz modułów. Dowolność aranżacji wewnątrz ułatwiają wklejane samodzielnie wsporniki do PCB.

Acer expects more income from enterprise products in 2017

Toshiba says it again is blocking Western Digital access to chip JV

Toshiba Corp said it resumed blocking access by Western Digital Corp to data at their memory chip joint venture, intensifying its dispute with the U.S. firm over the Japanese company's planned sale of the chip business. Toshiba allowed Western Digital partial access to shared data servers after the Superior Court of California granted a temporary restraining order earlier this month. Korea develops super-fast Wi-Fi

A state-run Korean institute has developed super-fast Wi-Fi network technology. The Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute announced it successfully tested the technology called "mobile hotspot network." In a demonstration in Seoul, the new platform transmitted data at a maximum speed of 1.25 Gbps, which is 30 times quicker than the current norm. Qualcomm's profit forecast disappoints

Qualcomm Inc forecast fourth-quarter profit below analysts' estimates as the company's escalating patent battle with Apple Inc continues to take a toll on its licensing business.
