Podzespoły  G3VM-31QR - miniaturowy przekaźnik półprzewodnikowy 

 

Firma Omron uruchomiła produkcję miniaturowego przekaźnika półprzewodnikowego, który zajmując na płytce drukowanej powierzchnię zaledwie 2,9 mm² może przewodzić prąd o natężeniu do 1,5 A. Nowy przekaźnik wykonano w oparciu o technologię MOSFET.

Zgodnie z intencją producenta, jest on przeznaczony przede wszystkim do sprzętu pomiarowego i testowego, w którym ważnym aspektem jest przestrzeń zajmowana przez obwody wejścia/wyjścia, co jednak nie wyklucza zastosowania przekaźnika również w innych aplikacjach.

Przekaźnik G3VM-31QR jest oferowany w obudowie S-VSON o wymiarach 2,0 mm×1,65 mm×1,45 mm. Zwarto w niej innowacyjny, 3-warstwowy chip półprzewodnikowy. W porównaniu do rozwiązań alternatywnych, nowy przekaźnik ma niższą rezystancję w stanie załączenia - wynosi ona 0,1 Ω.

Może przewodzić prąd o natężeniu do 1,5 A przy napięciu maksymalnym 30 V AC lub DC. Zakres temperatury otoczenia rozciąga się od -40 do +110°C. Napięcie przebicia pomiędzy wejściem a wyjściem wynosi 500 V, co jest wyjątkowe wśród tak małych przekaźników półprzewodnikowych.

Apple Watch shipments expected to reach 15 million in 2017

With Apple ready to launch its third-generation Apple Watch, Apple's overall smartwatch shipments are expected to rise to 4.5 million units in the fourth quarter and hit 15 million for the whole year 2017, according to sources from the upstream supply chain. Electro-colour-changing ink is printed with water

Georgia Tech chemists have developed water-based electrochromic film inks for colour-change applications such as auto-dimming rear-view car mirrors. “There were some hurdles to pulling it off,” said GaTech. “The finished product had to electrically operate comparable to films that are applied in an organic solvent, and also be water-resistant in spite of the water-based production.” The team of Professor John Reynolds is behind the development, using colorful and electroactive conjugated polymers - organic molecules that easily let go a few of their more loosely attached electrons, changing colour in the process. więcej na: www.electronicsweekly.com

ThoughtSpot raises $60 million, ends funding round for artificial intelligence technology

Silicon Valley technology company ThoughtSpot has completed a $120 million funding round to fuel the start-up's new artificial intelligence endeavor. ThoughtSpot, based in Palo Alto, California, said it had raised $60 million from investors in a financing round led by venture capital firm Lightspeed Venture Partners. China's Lenovo sinks to loss on higher costs, sluggish PC market; outlook challenging

Chinese personal computer maker Lenovo Group Ltd posted a first-quarter loss on Friday citing higher costs and slower growth in the personal computer market, and said the outlook was challenging due to supply constraints. Lenovo, which lost its position as the world's largest PC maker to HP Inc in the quarter through June, lost $72 million compared with a profit of $173 million for the same period last year. Semiconductor industry backs Trump's China probe

The semiconductor industry's largest trade group reacted quickly to a memorandum by U.S. President Donald Trump authorizing the investigation of China's trade practices, offering support and saying it has long voiced concern over "market-distorting" aspects of China's industrial policy. Dialog looking to extend partnership with Spreadtrum

Dialog Semiconductor is looking to extend its partnership with Spreadtrum Communication, and does not rule out forming a joint venture with the China-based mobile SoC provider, said Christophe Chene. Spreadtrum is currently Dialog's only China-based partner, and Dialog has developed a specific product for Spreadtrum as part of the companies' collaboration, Chene indicated.
